Mesura Support

Mesura shows how much you can safely spend before your next pay, from the income and bills you enter and the purchases you log.

Getting started

• Choose your home province when the app first opens. It sets the sales tax and income tax estimates. You can change it later in Settings.
• Add your income and bills in the Plan tab. Safe-to-spend on Home is worked out from them.
• Log purchases with the Add purchase button, or let Apple Pay purchases log themselves (below).

Logging Apple Pay purchases automatically

Mesura can log each tap-to-pay purchase through a Shortcuts automation. In the app, open Settings, then “Set up Apple Pay capture”, and follow the three steps. In short: in the Shortcuts app, create a Wallet (Transaction) automation for your card, let it run without asking, and add Mesura’s “Log Transaction” action with the card tap’s Merchant, Amount and Card.

Purchases made on websites or inside apps don’t run the automation; add those by hand. If purchases stop appearing, Settings, “Capture not working?” lists what to check.

Logging a purchase without opening the app

The “Add Purchase” action asks how much and where, then saves the purchase. Ask Siri to “Add a purchase in Mesura”, or put the action on Back Tap, the Action Button, the Home Screen, or (on iOS 18 or later) Control Center. Settings, “Quick entry” explains each.

Your data

Your data stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account. Mesura has no accounts and sends nothing to us. See the privacy policy for details. You can export your purchases as a CSV file from Settings.
